网管人员的主要任务就是掌控服务器、网络设备的正常运作，而每种装置的联网方式也会有所不同，通常必须必备多种的联网工具，才能长邝各种设备的状态，【mRemoteNG】是集合了各种联网方式的一款网管工具，可以设定连线设定集中在一个软体内，连线后採用标签的的方式区分不同联网窗口，这样在电脑中就不会有太多的软体视窗。
支援的联网方式有：
RDP (Remote Desktop/Terminal Server)
VNC (Virtual Network Computing)
ICA (Citrix Independent Computing Architecture)
SSH (Secure Shell)
Telnet (TELecommunication NETwork)
HTTP/HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol)

连线设定项设定支援资料夹，可以将不同的主机以资料夹来区分，在管理上有一定的便利之处，主机资讯设定集中在画面左下角，我觉得设定的画面稍嫌不够友善，感觉设定起来有点吃力。不过页籤方式的使用的确还不错，而且每一个页籤都还可以独立出来，若是不希望画面受限于软体中，独立出来使用的确也不错，也能分别放在软体画面上下左右四个方位。
